CLUB CHAMPS ENTRY FORM

What's On This Month?

  • Sunday 15th September - Club Champs

Later this year…

  • Sunday 20 October - Club Day
  • Saturday 9 November - REVERSE Club Day
  • Saturday 14 December - Christmas Fun Day & Dinner

This month see's us running our annual club champs meeting. Once again this year we are so thankful to have Strand Painters & Decorators come on board as the event sponsor!

Gates open 7am, with drivers briefing at 8:45am.

X rated drivers MUST have their karts scrutineered, all others will be random.

5 heat format with GP's at the end.

As this is a club trophy event, we will also be carrying out random tech checks during the day to make sure everyone is on a level playing field.

Committee Highlights

The new Committee has been very busy getting stuck into plans for the coming year. With lots going on behind the scenes. We have a potential Academy day early next year, a night race in the works, track and facility upgrades…The list goes on!

We also recently attended the Kartsport New Zealand Conference of Clubs, with Simon and Kyle heading up to Tauranga for the weekend. Lots of discussions were had from clubs all across the country. Here's a few key points below…

  • The sport continues to grow, with licence holders up on last year.
  • The academy is receiving more funding, which means lower entry costs to competitors!
  • KSNZ financials looking brighter, able to progress the sport into the future.
  • “We are ALL Kartsport”, a comment that resonated through the weekend. We all need to do our bit to make sure the sport thrives!
  • Presidents zoom calls, most clubs attending and providing feedback to KSNZ.

In The Limelight

Well done to Jen McGuigan, who has recently taken on a role within Kartsport NZ! She will be working closely with James and Warrick based in the Wellington region.

Are we sure she is ready to work with Mr Melhop though!?

Event Spotlight

North Island Champs! Who's going up? It would be great to get a Kartsport Wellington travel group together for the event!

Working Bee

Thank you to the small but eager group who helped at the Working Bee yesterday! (9 people) Remember...Coming along to help at working bee's keeps our facilities looking amazing, and also saves the club money so we don't have to outsource our own work. It would be great to have more along to our

next working bee on Saturday 30th November!

See you at the race track soon!

Thanks to our

awesome sponsors!
